0905_0908 – new york 1_34’848
Since the very beginning of my residency in New York the omnipresent surveillance of the Big Apple has struck me.
New York has, for a European citizen a very unusually constructed layout, the size seems incomprehensible, and orientation as well as communication need adjusting.
The question of how and if different city-scapes influence our thinking, behaviour and creative processes. Architecture as a possible creative enrichment but also as constructed restrictions?
I started to record my own, daily movements, to survey myself. The surveillance without reference of orientation, the map is missing.
