I observe and engage with the tactile nature of sculpting and seeing (video) , concerning the material,
its texture and existence in space. I attempt to introduce sculptural awarness into video and movement
as well as greater degree of interactivity into
static sculpture. The combination of the old and
found
with the new and virgin frequently leads, through strategic and playful development, to work which
writes its own tragic and comical nature.
The dichotomies between the idea of boredom and too much time or not enough time ever, as well as the
overflow of information part of mass culture and todays solitary ways are sparks to my work.
My work can necessitate patience, as it might oppose the habitual flickering and happening to an idea of
slow motion as well as a tilted angle
My work is 3-dimensional in nature and often leads to video-pieces of a documentary character.
